| Summary, etc. | La géopoétique d’Édouard Glissant, une contribution à penser le monde comme Monde.— Tout au long de son œuvre, Édouard Glissant a développé une pensée du monde en explorant continuellement des concepts comme le Tout-Monde et le Lieu, la créolisation et la digénèse, la Relation et la diversité, l’archipel et le continent. Par l’examen de quelques-uns de ses essais, on veut montrer la contribution de l’écrivain au débat contemporain des sciences sociales sur une réalité qui est loin d’être circonscrite ou de faire l’unanimité et qui déborde les frontières des savoirs disciplinaires. En mobilisant des textes qui portent une expérience et une vision du monde et visent à construire une poétique plus qu’une théorie de la mondialité, on espère éclairer notre façon de penser le monde comme Monde. |

| Summary, etc. | Throughout his work, Edouard Glissant has developed a vision of the world by exploring concepts such as the Whole-world and the Place, creolization and digenesis, Relation and diversity, the archipelago and the continent. An analysis of several of his essays shows how he has contributed to the modern debate in the social sciences on a controversial and ill-defined reality that crosses disciplinary borders. By mobilizing texts that narrate a singular experience and vision of the world, texts that are more interested in creating a poetics than a theory of “mondialité” or globality, we hope to shed new light on the conception of the world as the World. |
