| Summary, etc. | Tandis que la Drôle de Guerre est l’occasion d’une première confrontation avec la réglementation et la réquisition, la signature de l’armistice marque pour les entreprises résinières françaises le début d’un dialogue complexe avec le gouvernement de Vichy et les occupants. Dans un contexte de graves restrictions (matières premières, main-d’œuvre, moyens de transport), les autorités allemandes parviennent à tirer profit des atouts du tissu économique forestier, puisqu’ils parviennent à intégrer à leur économie de guerre cette richesse tirée du sol. L’organisation de la filière depuis 1939 autour d’une Union corporative des résineux (UCR) a été d’une importance capitale. |

| Summary, etc. | While the Phony War brought about the first setting-up of regulations and requisitions, the signing of the Armistice marked the start of a complex period for the French resin economy, in that it prompted a fruitful dialogue with both the Vichy government and the German authorities. In a context of severe shortages (primary goods, labour and the means of transport), the occupying forces benefited from the strength of the local forest fabric, since they were able to integrate into their war economy this natural resource drawn from the land. The organization in 1939 of the French UCR was of capital importance. |
