| Summary, etc. | Dans la littérature, la question de savoir quelles sont les contraintes qui permettent de prédire si un SN comprenant un nom et un adjectif constitue un seul ou deux groupes accentuels n’est toujours pas résolue, de même que la question de savoir comment interagissent ces contraintes. Le but de cette étude est d’évaluer le rôle des variables syntaxiques, métriques, réalisationnelles, lexicales, idiolectales, sociales et stylistiques qui pèsent sur le phrasé prosodique des suites syntagmatiques composées d’un adjectif et d’un nom en français. Pour ce faire, nous conduisons une analyse de régression impliquant plus d’une dizaine de prédicteurs et plus de 3 000 clusters extraits d’un corpus d’une durée de 13 h, annoté à différents niveaux et échantillonné pour étudier la variation régionale et stylistique en français. |

| Summary, etc. | The question to know how many and which are the constraints that predict whether a NP consisting of a noun and an adjective is one or two stress groups is still opened to debate, as is the question of how these constraints interact. The aim of this study is to evaluate the role of syntactic variables, metrics, realisational, lexical, idiolectal, social and stylistic weighing on the prosodic phrasing of NP consisting of an adjective and a noun in French. To this purpose, we conduct a regression analysis involving more than ten predictors and over 3 000 clusters extracted from 13 h-long corpus, sampled and annotated at various structural levels to address the question of regional speaking style variation in French. The results show that only the predictors related to metrical, realizational and speaking style factors are significant. |
