| Summary, etc. | Cet article est une contribution à la recherche sur la variation diatopique du français dans le domaine grammatical, ainsi qu’à l’étude des mots italiens dans les espaces francophones. L’analyse quantitative d’un ensemble de données textuelles tirées de la base europresse a montré que l’intégration morphosyntaxique de certains italianismes culinaires varie entre le français métropolitain et le français canadien. Notre hypothèse est que la manière dans laquelle ce dernier a intégré ces emprunts dans ses structures morphosyntaxiques (c.-à-d. les catégories linguistiques du genre et du nombre) – singulière par rapport au français hexagonal en ce qu’elle reflète une autre manière de conceptualiser et de catégoriser les mêmes objets – aurait été influencée par le contact avec l’anglo-américain. |

| Summary, etc. | This article is a contribution to research on the regional variation of French in the grammatical domain, as well as to the study of Italian words in French-speaking areas. Quantitative analysis of a textual dataset drawn from the europresse database has shown that the morphosyntactic integration of some culinary Italianisms varies between Metropolitan French and Canadian French. Our hypothesis is that the way in which the latter has integrated these borrowings into its morphosyntactic structures (i.e. the categories of gender and number), which is singular compared to Metropolitan French in that it reflects a different way of conceptualizing and categorizing the same objects, would have been influenced by contact with American English. |
