| Summary, etc. | RésuméPanamá assume une forte recomposition urbaine du fait des bouleversements internes liés non seulement à la rétrocession de la zone américaine, mais aussi à la demande logistique et touristique internationale qui réclame, à la fois, de nouveaux quartiers fonctionnels et la réhabilitation de quartiers anciens. Ainsi, il ne s’agit pas ici seulement d’un processus classique de réhabilitation mais aussi d’une réinsertion globale du centre d’origine coloniale ainsi que celle de la zone urbaine américaine, deux quartiers fort différents mais patrimoniaux l’un et l’autre, dans une zone métropolitaine au service de la mondialisation. Seule la dynamique générale de la ville autorise une valorisation rapide du quartier ancien en l’intégrant comme un des éléments de la nouvelle centralité urbaine. |

Rehabilitation is indispensable but here it’s not a classic rehabilitationb but also the necessity to integrate into the metropol area the old colonial center (16th century – 19th century) and the american area (20e) in a global city. This dynamic allows a quickly value because of the new attraction and business organization. |
