| Summary, etc. | RésuméLes « globes virtuels » (Google Earth, Virtual Earth, Géoportail...) facilitent sans conteste l’accès à l’information géographique, mais leur usage pédagogique pour « faire de la géographie » constitue un enjeu majeur pour les enseignants et pour les élèves. Il s’agit donc de présenter les potentialités de ces outils de cartographie interactive, de montrer quelques pratiques émergentes à partir de séances pédagogiques disponibles sur Internet, et enfin de dégager une typologie d’usages possibles de ces outils pour renouveler l’enseignement de la géographie de la France. |

| Summary, etc. | Using the “virtual globes” to teach geography of FranceThe “virtual globes ” (Google Earth, Virtual Earth, Geoportail...) undoubtedly facilitate access to geographic information, but their educational use for “making geography ” constitutes a major challenge for teachers and pupils. It is therefore to present the potential of these interactive mapping tools, to show some emerging practices from educational activities available on the Internet, and finally reach a typology of possible uses of these tools to renew the teaching of geography of France. |
