L’examen et la comparaison de leurs illustrations mettent en évidence leur raréfaction et l’estompement de leur rôle mnémotechnique entre l’album de Pierre Valet publié en 1613 et l’édition parisienne donnée par Coustelier en 1743. |

| Summary, etc. | This study aims at a better understanding of the relations between texts and images in several French editions of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries of the novel by Heliodorus, Aethiopica. The examination and comparison of their illustrations reveals their rarefaction and the reduction of their mnemonic function between the illustrated album of Pierre Valet published in 1613 and the Parisian edition given by Coustelier in 1743. |
