520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc.
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. The Aboriginal people of Canada : spaces and communities in transformationWhereas questions relating to aboriginality have long been the domain of anthropology, the last few years have seen a widening of research approaches in this area. The discipline of geography is actively participating in this transformation, through the richness of its analyses of landscape, resources, environment and territorial planning. Beginning with a survey of aboriginal territories in the Americas, we explore, in this article, three dominant themes relating to the spaces of contemporary aboriginality in Canada : governance, knowledges and urbanity.
