À partir de recherches empiriques et qualitatives menées au Caire auprès de réfugiés et de migrants chrétiens d’origine subsaharienne, cet article tente de mettre en perspective différentes études en sciences sociales abordant plus ou moins directement les thématiques des migrations, des religions et de l’ancrage urbain. Il interroge les liens se complexifiant entre mobilités spatiales et mobilités religieuses contemporaines. Il examine également différentes formes d’ancrages urbains et de territorialités religieuses en mouvement, en s’attardant sur les espaces vécus et perçus des migrants, redéfinis parfois progressivement par leurs propres croyances. |

| Summary, etc. | How and why international migration geography could be (re) thought through the religion prism ? Based on an empirical and qualitative research conducted in Cairo on African Christian refugees and migrants, this article attempts to put in perspective different social sciences studies on migrations, religions and urban anchoring. It interrogates the complex links between contemporary spatial mobilities and religious mobilities. It also analyses various forms of urban anchorages and various forms of evolving religious territories, by focusing on how migrants perceive and live their own spaces. These spaces are sometimes redefined by their own religious beliefs. |
