| Summary, etc. | L’agir anthropocénique ne se déploie pas sans critiques ou sans luttes. Un ensemble de résistances, faites de contestations, d’alternatives ou de mouvements sociaux urbains, se mobilisent contre les pollutions industrielles, créent des communautés utopiques, prennent soin de leur environnement local, jardinent collectivement, initient des villes en transition, influent sur la gestion des déchets. En combinant les apports des humanités environnementales, des études urbaines et de la littérature sur les mouvements sociaux, cet article rend compte des différentes manières dont les mouvements sociaux environnementaux se sont emparés des questions urbaines et ont opposé à l’agir anthropocénique d’autres formes d’agir environnementaliste. |

| Summary, etc. | Anthropocene action does not unfold without criticism or struggle. An array of resistance, made up of contests, alternatives or urban social movements, mobilize against industrial pollution, create utopian communities, take care of their local environment, organize collectively, initiate “transition cities”, influence on waste management. By combining the contributions of environmental humanities, urban studies and literature on social movements, this article accounts for the different ways in which social environmental movements have seized urban questions and have opposed to the anthropocene action other forms of environmentalist actions, displayed as four families of urban environmentalism, “naturalist”, “protestor”, “ordinary” and “democratic”. |
