| Summary, etc. | Les territorialisations de l’islam sont ici observées dans l’espace d’organisation Sahel-Sahara-Méditerranée et à travers des marquages spatiaux déjà existants et des dynamiques de reterritorialisations. Les spatialités de l’islam sont inscrites dans des temporalités longues qui intègrent divers héritages dont ceux des périodes antéislamiques. Elles sont marquées par des lieux de distinction (pôles, haut-lieux, lieux animés des pratiques de l’islam mais de moindre importance) et par les influences des écoles juridiques, principalement malékite et hanbalite. L’appartenance aux réseaux de l’islam constitue le sésame du contrôle des ressources. Ces réseaux sont constamment renouvelés. Leur revivification actuelle est particulièrement visible à travers les stratégies spatiales de l’islam confrérique, plus spécialement observé ici en suivant les branches confrériques de la Tijaniyya. Les territorialisations d’un islam qui se présente comme réformateur sont ensuite suivies en analysant les modes de contrôle spatial des courants salafistes porteurs du néolibéralisme et de la réislamisation des sociétés. Les territorialités qui y sont associées sont multiples, se recomposent selon les opportunités et contribuent fortement à la déstabilisation des Etats. La mouvance djihadiste qui est en constante recomposition a pour objectif commun la prise du pouvoir. Sa traduction spatiale idéalisée en est le Khalifat.Quels que soient ses modes d’expression, l’islam par ses réseaux contrôle les espaces en ignorant totalement les frontières issues de la décolonisation. |

| Summary, etc. | The territorialisations of islam in the Sahel-Sahara-Mediterranean areasThe territorialisations of islam are observed in the Sahel-Sahara-Mediterranean areas, mainly with present spatial features and with new ones. Most of these features are derived from historical times (including pre islam times) and are comprised of many different types of places (poles, heritage sites, lesser sites) depending on the two main islam fraternities, malekite and hanbalite. These sites are organised in networks and allow to control the land use and ressources. Some of these networks are controlled by a modern and liberal version of islam, others are under the rule of salafist islam, with some distant links with djihadists elements. All these differents forms of territorialisation are not in phase with the official limits of countries (dating back to colonial times) and they create a new form of spatial activities and cultural references. |
