| Summary, etc. | Au sein d’une région où la présence économique de la Chine a récemment changé d’échelle, décrire les investissements directs étrangers (IDE) chinois en Asie du Sud-Est ne va pas de soi malgré la disponibilité des sources. Cela paraît cependant nécessaire car les investissements à l’étranger entrent dans une stratégie et une dynamique de montée en puissance de la Chine, et ce depuis le début du xxie siècle. En ASEAN, le rythme de leur progression est particulièrement rapide. L’analyse de la répartition spatiale et sectorielle de ces flux d’investissements directs montre que la logique industrielle et de développement croise et recouvre les dimensions politiques et géopolitiques d’une stratégie de puissance à l’échelle de la région. |

| Summary, etc. | The changing scale of China’s presence in Southeast Asia has to be documented: the foreign direct investments from the PRC in ASEAN is not easy to depict, despite of the plurality of databases. Focusing on Rising China is relevant because the outwards FDIs nurture its strategy and dynamics of development and geopolitical assertiveness. Foreign investment became in the first decade of the XXIth Century a key engine of the Rise of China. In ASEAN, the speed of the Chinese FDI’s increase is very high. Analysing the spatial and sectoral distribution of their flows shows that their political and geopolitical content cross China’s development strategy. |
