Cet article se propose de mesurer les degrés, les modalités et les enjeux de la réaction poétique au contexte. Après l’examen des recueils les plus réceptifs à l’histoire immédiate (Drieu La Rochelle, Jouve, Éluard), il s’attache à déceler l’emprise de l’actualité sur les œuvres qui semblent s’en abstraire (Segalen, Valéry, Apollinaire), avant d’en sonder les échos dispersés chez les auteurs les plus avant-gardistes (Max Jacob, Reverdy, Albert-Birot, Soupault, Breton, Tzara). |

| Summary, etc. | The year 1917 opens on a new page for French poetry which knows then an efflorescence of striking publications linked with the double impact of the Great War and the Russian Revolution. This article aims to evaluate the stages, modalities and issues of the poetic reaction to the context. After examining the collections of poems most receptive to immediate history (Drieu La Rochelle, Jouve, Éluard), it attempts to detect the imprint of topicality upon the works which seem to cut themselves off from it (Segalen, Valéry, Apollinaire), before sounding its scattered echoes in the most avant-gardist authors (Max Jacob, Reverdy, Albert-Birot, Soupault, Breton, Tzara). |
