| Summary, etc. | Il s’agit de relire l’article de Claude Duchet, « Pour une sociocritique, ou variation sur un incipit », qui ouvre en 1971 le numéro 1 de Littérature, à travers l’immédiat contexte intellectuel de sa parution. Un point de départ de cette étude nous est donné par les trois articles de Jean Starobinski (« La relation critique », 1970), Serge Doubrovsky (« Littérature : générativité de la phrase », 1970) et Roland Barthes (« De l’œuvre au texte », 1971). Chacun de ces articles permettra tour à tour de mettre en valeur les enjeux critique, théorique et méthodologique de la sociocritique naissante que fait ici vivre l’écriture essayiste de Claude Duchet. |

| Summary, etc. | It is a matter of re-reading Claude Duchet’s article, « For a sociocriticism, or, variations on an incipit », which opens in 1971 the first issue of Littérature, in the immediate intellectual context of its publishing. Three articles offer us a starting point for this study : “The critical relation” (Jean Starobinski, 1970), “Literature: generativity of the sentence” (Serge Doubrovsky, 1970) and “From work to text” (Roland Barthes, 1971). Each of these articles will alternately highlight the critical, theoretical and methodological issues of the rising sociocriticism which the essayist writing of Claude Duchet here enlivens. |
