| Summary, etc. | The present paper aims at investigating – from a multidisciplinary (functional, linguistic, sociolinguistic) perspective – the feminization process of agent names (NAg) recently borrowed into Romanian from English. The analysis is based on a corpus of 257 NAg (Noms d’Agent) still looking foreign in form, frequently used in technical jargons, journalese and in the colloquial language of social networks as epicenes (genderless) names or with specific feminine forms made by suffixation, composition or by syntactic means. |
