| Summary, etc. | La crise par laquelle nous passons met en évidence la fragilité de notre système et les risques liés aux chaînes d’approvisionnement alimentaire directement tributaires de l’agriculture intensive et globalisée. Il est donc intéressant de montrer les opportunités de transition agricole vers un système plus local, plus résilient et tout aussi productif dans le respect de l’environnement. L’article montre dans un contexte suisse la faisabilité d’un passage à une agriculture permacole envisageable dès aujourd’hui, notamment pour le secteur maraîcher. Les aspects de transition économique, de main d’œuvre, d’occupation des sols et de productivité ouvrent une réelle opportunité de changement. Aux politiques de se montrer assez ambitieux pour imprimer une telle transition bénéfique pour tous. |

| Summary, etc. | The current crisis we are facing highlights clearly our system weakness and the risks of food chain supply directly dependent of intensive and globalized agriculture. In this respect, it is particularly interesting to illustrate all opportunities of an agricultural transition towards a more local, more resilient system, as productive as it is now but much more environmentally friendly. Based on Noé Goy’s Bachelor Thesis, this article shows and demonstrate the feasibility in Switzerland of the transition to permaculture for the agricultural sector. This is possible right now, especially for the fruit and vegetables sector without any real obstacle. Aspects of economical transition, manpower availibility, reduced landuse and productivity open a genuine immediate change opportunity. It is now up to the political representatives to show themselves ambitious enough to instigate such a transition being a benefit to all. |
