| Summary, etc. | L’âge du tout-numérique véhicule une contradiction : d’un côté, l’information circule plus aisément, et son partage sur Internet remet en cause la logique marchande ; d’un autre côté, Internet étant aujourd’hui sous hégémonie de grands groupes capitalistes (Google, Facebook…), le contenu qui s’y déploie est davantage perçu comme « données » à valoriser sur le marché que comme « informations » méritant éventuellement d’être discutées dans l’agora démocratique. Il n’y a aucune fatalité dans cette situation. Il s’agit juste d’engager un travail critique sur les usages des nouvelles technologies de l’information et de la communication (NTIC), en adoptant le point de vue de l’émancipation humaine, et en portant une conception exigeante de ce qu’est une information. |

| Summary, etc. | The all-digital era conveys a contradiction : on one hand, information flows more easily, and its sharing on the Internet challenges the commercial logic ; on the other hand, the Internet is now under the hegemony of big capitalist groups (Google, Facebook…) and the content that it deploys is seen more as “data” to value on the market than “information”. There is no fatality in this situation but it’s necessary to make a critical work on the use of new Information and Communications Technology (ICT), adopting the perspective of human emancipation. |
