Summary, etc. | Pour favoriser l’accès du plus grand nombre à un diplôme et sécuriser les parcours professionnels, différentes réformes ont été engagées depuis une trentaine d’années dans l’éducation et la formation professionnelle. Orientées vers la certification des compétences tout au long de la vie, elles s’inscrivent dans le cadre de la valorisation de l’employabilité et de la mobilité professionnelle, et s’adressent à des individus déclarés « acteurs de leur parcours », supposés aptes à circuler de manière libre et dynamique sur un marché du travail incertain. Cependant, malgré l’affichage d’une volonté de réduction des inégalités et la promotion de « la liberté de choisir son avenir professionnel », l’incitation à faire la preuve incessante de ses compétences professionnelles via des certifications innombrables et disparates, objets d’un marché très porteur, pose question. S’agit-il alors de protéger les individus ou de les rendre responsables de leur parcours, en justifiant la mise en place d’un nouveau modèle salarial ? |

Summary, etc. | In order to promote access to a diploma for as many people as possible and to secure career paths, various reforms have been undertaken over the past thirty years in education and professional training. Oriented towards the certification of skills throughout life, these reforms are part of the framework of the enhancement of employability and occupational mobility, and are aimed at individuals declared «actors of their career path», assumed to be able to move freely and dynamically in an uncertain labor market. However, beyond the expressed intention of reducing inequalities and promoting «the freedom to choose one’s professional future», the encouragement to constantly demonstrate one’s professional skills through countless and disparate certifications, objects of a very buoyant market, raises concern. Is it then a question of protecting individuals or making them responsible for their occupational path, while justifying the implementation of a new wage model? |
