| Summary, etc. | À l’heure de la crise écologique actuelle et de la menace qu’elle fait peser sur l’ensemble de la planète, les considérations freudiennes sur la nature ont-elles encore une portée ? Oui, si l’on considère qu’elles accompagnent la révolution épistémologique qu’engage Freud concernant le rapport de l’homme à la culture. Parce qu’il considère la nature comme une altérité dangereuse, Freud retrace le chemin qui mène l’homme à l’humaniser, via la religion, pour l’apprivoiser et la domestiquer. Ne peut-on pas, en reparcourant le chemin à l’envers, considérer que c’est ce mouvement même d’objectalisation qui, amenant la perception d’une extrême dangerosité de la nature, a conduit à l’exploitation vengeresse qui aujourd’hui menace son intégrité ? |

| Summary, etc. | In the current ecological crisis and its threat to the whole planet, are Freudian considerations on nature still relevant ? It is certainly the case if we consider that they accompany the epistemological revolution started by Freud regarding the relationship of man to culture. Since he considers nature as a dangerous otherness, Freud describes the path that leads man to humanise it via religion, in order to tame and domesticate it. Could we go backwards and consider that this process of objectalisation which brought about a perception of the extreme danger of nature, led to the revengeful exploitation which today endangers its own integrity ? |
