520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. Freud never really explained the concept of working-through. In 1914, he defines resistance as its object and insists on the patience required of the analyst to achieve it. In 1926, he specifies that the resistance targeted by working-through is that of the unconscious, expressed by the compulsion to repeat. The third part of Aeschylus’ Oresteia, The Eumenides, could illustrate the mechanism through the patience of Athena, which enables the Erinyes to be transformed into the Eumenides.
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc.
