Summary, etc. | L’inclusion scolaire incarne la volonté de ne plus écarter les élèves handicapés des voies scolaires ordinaires et de leur permettre de devenir des membres à part entière de l’école, plus largement de participer à une commune citoyenneté. Or, la participation sociale dépend pour une part de la manière dont les acteurs (ordinaires et handicapés) donnent forme à l’inclusion. Après avoir rappelé les principes du paradigme inclusif, l’article traite d’abord des enjeux biographiques de l’inclusion scolaire. Il montre ensuite, par l’exemple du travail, que ces enjeux ne sont pas réductibles au champ scolaire puisque l’inclusion dépend du sens donné aux événements et du contexte dans lequel ils se produisent. |

Summary, etc. | The aim of academic inclusion is to prevent disabled students from being excluded from ordinary academic trajectories, allowing them to become full members of the school community and – more wildly – to participate to a common citizenship. Yet, social participation partly depends on the way social actors (ordinary and disabled) give shape to inclusion. This article will first recall the main points of the inclusive paradigm, then discuss the biographical stakes of academic inclusion. Finally, it will show – by taking example on work – that these stakes are not exclusively related to the academic field, as they depend on the meaning given to events and on the context of their experimentation. |
