| Summary, etc. | Cet article prend appui sur une thèse dont l’enquête portait sur les modalités de soutien aux migrants en situation irrégulière. De manière générale, les migrants sont amenés à se raconter « comme personne d’autre », notamment quand ils demandent l’asile et doivent établir la preuve de leur condition de victime et prouver leur persécution. Nous défendons dans cet article que l’identité narrative est mise à l’épreuve par une injonction extérieure à mettre son histoire en récit, dans un format standardisé ; injonction à laquelle satisfont les soutiens pour se conformer à ce qui est attendu. Nous soutenons que la narrativité des migrants en quête de papiers est en tant que telle confisquée. Ce serait bien plutôt par le mensonge que le migrant pourrait reconquérir son ipséité et exister comme une personne à part entière. |

| Summary, etc. | This article is based on a thesis and a fieldwork inquiry about the different ways illegal migrants are being supported. In general, migrants are be told "like no one else", especially when they are seeking asylum and that they will have to prove their victimhood andsome related forms of violence they could have experienced. We defend in this article that the narrative identity is thus affected put to the test by an external injunction which requests to put its life story into both a narrative and a standardized format; injunction to which the supports satisfy to comply with what is expected. We argue that the narrativity of migrants looking for a legal statuteis as such confiscated. It would be rather by the use of falsehood that some migrants could regain their “ipseity” and could thus exist as a singular individual. |
