| Summary, etc. | RésuméDe nombreux auteurs soulignent la montée de l’inquiétude des parents à l’égard de la réussite scolaire de leurs enfants et notent une mobilisation importante des familles à propos de la scolarité mais aussi de la vie quotidienne à l’école. Cependant, aucune recherche n’a encore permis d’obtenir des informations simultanées sur l’ensemble du cursus du secondaire. Cet article décrit une recherche portant sur l’accompagnement familial de la scolarité. Un questionnaire a été distribué à des familles d’élèves français de la 6e à la terminale. 860 mères et 738 pères ont accepté de participer à cette recherche. Les résultats obtenus laissent apparaître des différences significatives en fonction du sexe et de la classe de l’élève mais aussi en fonction de la profession et du niveau d’études de la mère et du père. |

| Summary, etc. | Family support for adolescents’ educational attainment in secondary schooling : father’s and mother’s perceptionsMany authors have pointed to the rise in parental concern for their children’s success at school and noted the concerted effort by school children’s families not just in improving attainment, but also in daily activities within the school. This article presents a research project on family support for schooling. A questionnaire was distributed to the families of French children in the first to last year of secondary school. Completed by 860 mothers and 738 fathers, results highlight the differences according to the sex of the child and the stage of the child in the school, but also the social class based on occupation and the educational level of the mother and the father. |

No obstante, ninguna investigación permitió todavía obtener informaciones simultáneas sobre la totalidad del curso secundario. Este artículo describe une investigación sobre el acompañamiento paterno y materno de la escolaridad. Distribuimos un cuestionario a varias familias de alumnos franceses escolarizados en ciclo secundario. 860 madres y 738 padres aceptaron participar en la investigación. Los resultados obtenidos muestran diferencias significativas según el sexo y la clase del alumno, y también dependiendo de la profesión y del nivel de estudios de la madre y del padre. |
