| Summary, etc. | Au point de départ de la réflexion, il y a ce malaise éprouvé à la lecture de plusieurs travaux qui prennent pour référence les thèses de Gilbert Simondon. Celles-ci m’ont paru assez simplificatrices de la pensée aristotélicienne et médiévale sur la question de l’individuation. Nous avons donc choisi de restituer la pointe de l’analyse aristotélico-thomiste du processus d’individuation, pensant que ce dernier en serait éclairé d’un jour nouveau. Armé de ces repères, nous avons tenté de fonder une distinction entre l’individuation et la subjectivation, trop souvent confondues. Fort de ces distinctions, nous avons proposé de conclure à un dépassement nécessaire de l’opposition entre les approches intro et extrospectives de la biographie. |

| Summary, etc. | At the starting point of the reflection, there is this discomfort experienced in reading several works that refer to the theses of Gilbert Simondon. These seemed to me rather simplifiers of the Aristotelian and medieval thought on the question of individuation. We have therefore chosen to restore the point of the Aristotelian-Thomist analysis of the process of individuation, thinking that the latter would be enlightened by a new day. Armed with these benchmarks, we have tried to found a distinction between individuation and subjectivation, which are too often confused. On the basis of these distinctions, we have proposed to conclude that the opposition between the intro and extro-spective approaches of the biography must be overcome. |
