520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | The author takes the opposite view of psychoanalysts, whose statements, after Lacan, in the Seminar The Ethics of Psychoanalysis, lauded the privileged relationship between Antigone and Death. Deploying his references, from the thread of reconstituted history to the Jewish Bible, even if « everything is vanity », he holds how – from Antigone to Jacob, from Jacob to... his genealogy, from Thebes to Jerusalem – it is not death which is enhanced, it’s life which is glorified. |
