| Summary, etc. | L’objectif de cet article est d’identifier la relation entre la qualité de la gouvernance et l’économie informelle, il s’agit de mettre en évidence la contribution des bonnes pratiques de gouvernance à l’atténuation de l’ampleur des activités informelles. Pour cela, nous évaluons d’abord la qualité de la gouvernance en Tunisie en appréciant son état aussi bien au niveau global que local, ensuite nous établissons un état des lieux de la sphère informelle en Tunisie, ses caractéristiques et ses déterminants, puis, nous dégageons le rôle des bonnes pratiques de gouvernance dans la limitation des conséquences néfastes de l’économie informelle. Enfin, à la lumière des analyses faites tout au long de l’article, nous apportons des recommandations permettant de renforcer la qualité de la gouvernance et nous proposons des actions concrètes aidant à relever les défis futurs en matière d’atténuation de l’informalité et de lutte contre la corruption qui ronge l’économie tunisienne. |

| Summary, etc. | The aim of this paper is to identify the relationship between the quality of governance and the informal economy, and the contribution of good governance practices to decrease informal activities. First, we assess the quality of governance in Tunisia globally and locally, then, we establish an inventory of the informal sphere in Tunisia, its characteristics and determinants and we highlight the role of good governance practices in limiting the negative consequences of the informal economy. Finally, we make recommendations to strengthen the quality of governance and we propose concrete actions helping to meet future challenges in relation with informality and the fight against corruption. |
