| Summary, etc. | Entreprise publique marocaine, contrôlée par l’État à 95%, l’Office Chérifien des Phosphates, devenue en 2008 OCP Group S.A. est aujourd’hui la première entreprise, publique ou privée, du Maroc. Son histoire, une longue histoire qui commence en 1920, est indissociable de celle du phosphate et de son marché. En tant qu’entreprise publique, elle est la première entreprise publique du pays, en tant qu’investisseur et employeur, au chiffre d’affaires le plus important, dégageant une valeur ajoutée record. C’est aussi celle, dont la contribution à l’économie du pays est essentielle, par sa contribution à l’amélioration de sa balance commerciale, de ses réserves de change avec une contribution significative aux comptes du trésor. Par son activité, exploitation des phosphates et de ses produits dérivés, elle est aujourd’hui le leader mondial du marché, avec des relations anciennes avec l’Inde et le Pakistan, développant des relations privilégiées depuis 2014 avec l’Afrique subsaharienne, avec en 2023 une présence très significative dans 16 pays, 12 de ses pays accueillant sur son sol 12 filiales du groupe. |
