| Summary, etc. | Présentation de la pratique catéchuménale dans deux pays d’Europe aux contextes différents. Le Portugal, où une grande majorité de la population se réclame encore du catholicisme et où le catéchuménat vit encore les prémisses. Le Royaume-Uni, qui connaît un certain tassement du christianisme et où le catholicisme est « minoritaire », avec une pratique déjà bien rôdée du Rituel de l’initiation chrétienne des adultes. Dans ces deux pays, les évolutions sont sensibles et impliquent une meilleure prise en compte de l’initiation chrétienne et du catéchuménat. |

| Summary, etc. | This article presents interesting echoes of the catechumenal practice in two European countries with very different contexts. On the one hand, Portugal, where a large majority of the population still identifies itself as Catholic and where the catechumenate is still in its infancy. And on the other hand, the United Kingdom, which has seen a certain decline in Christianity and where Catholicism is in the minority, with a tried and tested practice of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). In both two countries, however, there are signs of change, entailing a greater awareness of Christian initiation and of the catechumenate. |
