| Summary, etc. | Cet article tente d’éclairer quelques problèmes qui accompagnent l’expansion de l’économie chinoise depuis son ouverture. Cette expansion est articulée sur une stratégie de développement cohérente qui : 1) n’a pas été appliquée sans difficultés, ni crises (première partie) ; 2) reste prioritairement tournée vers l’intérieur, plutôt que vers l’extérieur (deuxième partie) ; 3) produit, notamment à travers les exportations de marchandises et de capitaux, des effets contradictoires, tant sur les pays du Nord que sur ceux du Sud (troisième partie) ; 4) implique d’importantes réformes financières (quatrième partie) ; et 5) concerne également la monnaie nationale, dont l’internationalisation requiert des conditions qui, si elles se trouvent réunies, pourraient engendrer des implications majeures à la fois pour l’avenir du système économique chinois et pour l’ordre monétaire et financier international en cours de réforme (cinquième partie). | Summary, etc. | The present article is an attempt to explain some problems linked to the expansion of the Chinese economy since its opening. China’s economic boom is built upon a coherent development strategy which 1) has been implemented not without difficulties, nor crises (1st part) ; 2) remains orientated as a priority towards the inner needs, rather than towards abroad (2nd part) ; 3) has produced, especially through the exports of products and capital, contradictory effects both on the Northern and Southern countries (3rd part) ; 4) implies major financial reforms (4th part) ; and 5) also concerns the internationalization of the national currency, requiring conditions that, if they are met, would generate fundamental implications both for the future trajectory of the Chinese economic system, and for the international monetary and financial system under reorganization (5th part). |
