| Summary, etc. | This article explores the use of science fiction as a technology foresight tool within armasuisse Science and Technology. Since 2013, the Deftech (DEfence Futures TECHnologies) programme has incorporated this to materialize emerging technological concepts in order to prepare its stakeholders for future challenges and their possible impacts. Projects such as “Future Narratives”, “FantasIA” and “Situations 2043” offer interactive storytelling formats and a variety of immersive experiences to inspire, inform and educate readers and listeners about the plurality of possible futures. Science fiction thus becomes a powerful lever for envisioning limitless technological interactions and convergences as diverse as they are varied, stimulating the imagination while making it easier to understand the challenges ahead, with the simple but ambitious aim of being ready when the time comes. | Summary, etc. | Cet article explore l’utilisation de la science-fiction comme outil de prospective technologique au sein d’armasuisse Sciences et Technologies. Depuis 2013, le programme Deftech (DEfence Futures TECHnologies) intègre celle-ci pour matérialiser des concepts technologiques émergents afin de préparer ses parties prenantes aux défis futurs et à leurs possibles impacts. Des projets comme « Future Narratives », « FantasIA » et « Situations 2043 » proposent des formats de récits interactifs ainsi que des expériences immersives variées pour inspirer, informer et instruire les lecteurs et auditeurs sur la pluralité des futurs possibles. La science-fiction devient alors un puissant levier permettant d’envisager sans limites les interactions et convergences technologiques aussi diverses que variées, stimulant l’imagination tout en facilitant la compréhension des enjeux à venir dans l’unique but, simple mais ambitieux, d’être, le moment venu, prêt. |
