| Summary, etc. | This article is a critical reading of James Scott’s theoretical proposals on the infrapolitical practices of subalterns, based on his early work on the arts of resistance (Scott 1985, 2009). It offers a theoretical discussion of the notions of “infrapolitics,” “backstage,” and “hidden text,” with a view to grasping the relevance of their uses in the framework of sociolinguistic and sociodiscursive research into processes of resistance. |

| Summary, etc. | El presente artículo es una lectura crítica de las propuestas teóricas de James Scott a partir de sus trabajos sobre las artes de la resistencia y sobre las prácticas infrapolíticas de los individuos en posición de subordinación (Scott 1985, 2009). Se trata de un comentario teórico sobre las nociones de infrapolítica, de bambalinas (backstage) y de texto oculto, con el objetivo de examinar la pertinencia de sus usos en el marco de las investigaciones sociolingüísticas y sociodiscursivas sobre las prácticas militantes y los procesos de lucha cotidiana y/u organizada. |

| Summary, etc. | Cet article est une lecture critique des propositions théoriques de James Scott à partir de ses travaux sur les arts de la résistance et sur les pratiques infrapolitiques des individus en position de subordination (Scott 1985, 2009). Il s’agit d’une discussion théorique sur les notions d’infrapolitique, de coulisses et de texte caché afin de saisir la pertinence de leurs usages dans le cadre des recherches sociolangagières et sociodiscursives sur les pratiques militantes et les processus de lutte quotidienne et/ou organisée. |
