| Summary, etc. | RésuméDepuis la déclaration de Rio de Janeiro en 1992, acte de naissance du paradigme du Développement Durable, une idée persistante des milieux économiques et de l’enseignement, sans preuves tangibles, voudrait attribuer à l’environnement une manne d’emplois innombrables et prometteurs. L’environnement est une branche, une famille professionnelle au contour et périmètre mal définis et extensifs au gré des opinions. Cette incertitude du pôle environnemental est accentuée par la confusion métier / profession / emploi qui s’exprime par l’attribution nécessaire de certifications professionnelles à tout emploi ou activité et cela d’autant plus qu’ils pourraient être répartis selon une nouvelle typologie globalisée (investisseurs, top management, opérationnels, contrôleurs, régaliens...) (Joras, 2007). Impliqués dans la révolution écologique annoncée tous les métiers se verront dorénavant obligés de penser environnement en déployant des savoir faire et savoir être environnementaux indispensables. |

| Summary, etc. | Since the Rio de Janeiro’s statement in 1992 which enacted the sustainable development paradigm, a lingering idea has arisen from the financial and scholar communities suggesting, without any tangible proof, that environment-related activities would be a providential source of myriads of promising jobs.The environment is a specialized area, a trade family with fuzzy and poorly defined boundaries and expandable at the will of upcoming opinions.This cloudiness of the environmental sector is even worsened by the loose borders between trades, professions and jobs and concretizes with the need to grant professional certificates to any job or occupation although these could be split up according to a new and globalized taxonomy (investors, top management, operations, governmental control, ...) (Joras, 2007).Because they are involved in the foreseen environmental revolution, each and every profession will have to « know how to do » and « know how to behave » in an environmental way by the mean of displaying indispensable environmental know-hows. |
