| Summary, etc. | The theatre at Baelo Claudia: towards a restitutionIn the Roman theatre at Baelo Claudia two main phases of construction have been identified, both susceptible of different interpretations. The first belongs to the 6th decade of the 1st century CE; the second, to the beginning of the Flavian period. Both were part of a major renovation programme intended to transform the appearance of the town’s public spaces during the second half of the 1st century. |

La primera de ellas corresponde al final del reinado de Nerón; la segunda, a comienzos de la época flavia. Ambas pueden enmarcarse dentro del importante programa de renovación encargado de transformar profundamente la fisionomía de los ámbitos públicos del municipio durante la segunda mitad del siglo i. |
