| Summary, etc. | L’article analyse la façon dont la jeunesse espagnole imagine son avenir. Concrètement, il examine comment la crise a bousculé les anciennes certitudes sur les espaces de vie adulte offerts à ces jeunes en termes de recherche de place dans la société. La question « si ce n’est pas ici, alors où ? » apparaît de façon récurrente, bouleversant le cadre spatial dans lequel ils imaginent leurs vies à court et moyen terme. La normalisation de l’espace global et l’intériorisation de l’émigration — comme possibilité, désir ou imposition — viennent s’ajouter à la complexité et à la désarticulation de leurs passages à la vie adulte. Le matériel empirique utilisé dans cette étude provient des lettres écrites par des étudiants d’universités publiques espagnoles dans lesquelles ils racontent leur vie et leurs projets d’avenir. |

| Summary, etc. | This article analyses the way in which Spanish youth pictures the future. In particular it examines the way in which the crisis has overturned long-held certainties regarding the prospects of adult life as affecting the search for a place in society. A recurring question is «if not here, where?», a sharp departure from the spatial framework in which they picture their lives in the short and medium terms. The normalisation of a global space and the acceptance of migration—whether as a possibility, a desire or an imposition—only adds to the complexity and the breakdown of pathways of transition to adult life. The empirical material used in the study comes from letters written by students at Spanish public universities relating how they view life and their plans for the future. |

| Summary, etc. | El artículo analiza los imaginarios de futuro de la juventud en España. Concretamente, considera el modo en que la crisis ha alterado las viejas certezas acerca de los espacios de su vida adulta en lo que afecta a la búsqueda de su lugar en la sociedad. El «¿si no es aquí, dónde?» surge de forma recurrente, trastocando el marco espacial en el que imaginan sus vidas a corto y medio plazo. La normalización del espacio global y la interiorización de la migración —como posibilidad, deseo o imposición— se añaden a la complejidad y desarticulación de sus transiciones a la vida adulta. El material empírico empleado en el estudio proviene de cartas escritas por estudiantes de universidades públicas españolas en las que relatan cómo les va la vida y sus planes de futuro. |
