| Summary, etc. | Le développement économique des pays d’Asie de l’Est jusqu’au milieu des années 1990 a été surestimé, en particulier par la Banque mondiale qui évoquait «le miracle du développement économique». En 1997, ces pays ont été confrontés à une crise économique et monétaire, d’origine interne et externe, notamment dans le cadre du système monétaire international. Si le redressement des pays asiatiques a été plus rapide que prévu, le rôle du Japon dans la coopération régionale s’est vu limité sous l’influence conjointe du FMI et des Etats-Unis. La sortie de crise a suscité, pour la première fois, des mouvements de rapprochement entre les pays asiatiques et la promotion d’une coopération régionale a été recherchée, spécialement aux plans financier et monétaire |

| Summary, etc. | Asian recovery and financial reforms after the 1997 crises and the japanese contribution to restoring stability in the region Economic development of East Asian countries has been till the middle of 1990’s overestimated, particularly by the publication of the World Bank, with the expression of «Miracle of economic development». They have been faced with the monetary crisis in 1997 and the economic recession in the successive years. The causes of the crisis were found inside of each country as well as in the international monetary system supervise by IMF group. Asian countries have followed the road to recovery more quickly than it was anticipated. During this process, Japanese role for the regional cooperation has been limited under the influence of IMF group and United States. However, it is obvious that, for the first time after this crisis, the Asian countries recognized the necessity of regional cooperation by applying the financial and monetary way among them. |
