L’étude se base sur une analyse couvrant la période 1960-2007. L’article montre un risque économique du fait d’une relation entre la consommation énergétique et le revenu national. Il montre que la position de « hub » a un enjeu géopolitique et économique puisqu’elle est un élément moteur pour l’industrie même si cela implique une disparité régionale. |

| Summary, etc. | The aim of the paper is to identify energy issues in Turkey and to analyze their impacts on its economy. The study is mainly based on empirical analysis over the period 1960-2007. The article highlights an economic risk since there is a close relationship between energy consumption and national income. It also shows that the hub position is a geopolitical key issue and has a positive impact on the Turkish economy. This development is driving the industry even if this implies more regional disparity. |
