| Summary, etc. | Les membres de l’Union économique et monétaire de l’Afrique de l’Ouest ont instauré en 2002 un tarif extérieur commun et l’harmonisation de la fiscalité intérieure. À l’aide d’un modèle d’équilibre général calculable, SenMEGC, on montre qu’une politique alternative à celle appliquée par le Gouvernement du Sénégal dans le cadre de cette réforme aurait permis de maintenir les équilibres macroéconomiques tout en réduisant la pauvreté chez les groupes de ménages les plus défavorisés. |

With a calculable general equilibrium model, SenMCEG, we show that an alternative policy to the one the Senegalese Government implemented in the context of these reforms, would both maintain macroeconomic stability and reduce poverty in the most disadvantaged household groups. |
