La peur du déclassement social entraîne le syndicat dans une dérive d’actions violentes qui inquiètent les autorités. Le CID (bientôt renommé CID-UNATI à la suite d’une fusion avec un autre syndicat) en vient à interroger ses contemporains : s’agiraitil d’un syndicat « subversif » ? |

| Summary, etc. | The Comité d’information et de défense (CID), a neo-Poujadist trade union of artisans and small shopkeepers, was founded by Gérard Nicoud and became famous for its many spectacular activities in 1968. The fear of social downgrading led the union into a drift of violent actions that worried the authorities. The CID (soon to be renamed CID-UNATI following a merger with another union) came to question its contemporaries: was it a “subversive” union? |
