| Summary, etc. | L’analyse des dynamiques de patrimonialisation des fleuves et des rivières s’appuie sur la comparaison de deux sites inscrits au patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO : le val de Loire et la vallée de la Kadisha. L’article met en évidence les continuités/discontinuités territoriales ou temporelles au sein des jeux d’acteurs dans la conduite des différents projets. Il replace la gestion de ces patrimoines dans les dynamiques territoriales qui les entourent. La mise en perspective du double processus patrimonialisation/territorialisation renseigne sur les enjeux et les conflits qui animent la gestion et la conservation des ressources naturelles et culturelles des deux pays. |

| Summary, etc. | River heritage-making. A comparison between France and Lebanon Analysis of the way rivers become heritage is based on a comparison of two UNESCO World Heritage sites, the Val de Loire (France) and the Kadisha valley (Lebanon). This article seeks to highlight the spatial, temporal and stakeholders continuities/discontinuities in the conduct of the two projects. It situates the management of these sites within territorial dynamics around them. This twin perspective of patrimonialisation/territorialisation provides insight on the issues and conflicts that drive the management and conservation of natural and cultural resources of both countries. |
