Cette contribution présente les défis liés à l’utilisation par les VIM des outils existant pour mesurer la performance sociale des IMF, avec notamment le passage d’une vision restreinte et quantitative de la performance sociale à une approche plus large et qualitative. |

| Summary, etc. | Microfinance Investment Vehicles and the challenge of social performance In order to fully promote the development of Micro Finance Institutions (MFIs), Microfinance Investment Vehicles (MIV) now face the need to measure the social performance of their investments. This paper presents the available tools for measuring MFIs’ social performance and the challenges for MIVs to use them, notably by showing how the sector has evolved from a narrow and quantitative view of social performance to a wider and more qualitative approach. |
