Insérés dans une société à majorité urbaine, des structures familiales et sociales bien plus complexes que par le passé, se caractérisant, en dépit des schémas véhiculés par la famille nucléaire, par la mobilité géographique et de nouveaux réseaux de relations sociales, ceux-ci, surtout les jeunes à la recherche d’un travail, cherchent à s’émanciper. La question centrale de l’éducation est au cœur d’un débat qui oppose les politiques et les religieux. Le régime est-il capable à la fois de faire face à ces nouveaux enjeux et de maintenir ses alliances internes et externes ? Telle est la question posée par l’auteur. |

They live in a mainly urban society, within family and social structures that are much more complex than in the past. Despite the model of the nuclear family, they are geographically mobile and have established new networks of social relations and now there is a demand for more freedom, especially among young people looking for work. Education is a central issue in the debate between politicians and religious leaders.
