| Summary, etc. | RésuméCe travail décrit la scolarité des enfants hospitalisés dans un service de pédiatrie générale. Il met en scène le fonctionnement d’une unité d’enseignement hospitalière et se focalise sur les interactions entre acteurs pour lier deux trajectoires : celle du soin et celle du droit à poursuivre une scolarité lors d’une hospitalisation. Les relations observées montrent à la fois de grandes difficultés à coopérer et à s’intégrer respectivement dans les sphères de chacun, mais également une volonté de maintenir ensemble les trajectoires scolaires de ces enfants malades, et ce notamment grâce à des négociations propres au terrain, dérivant parfois des lois, et normes institutionnelles, aboutissant à une confusion des rôles initiaux conférés par les différents statuts individuels (parents, soignants, enseignants, élève/patient). |

| Summary, etc. | This work describes a school for hospitalized children in a general pediatric unit. It shows how a hospital teaching unit works, and focuses on the interactions between actors in order to link two different aims together: on one side to care and cure these kids and on the other side their right to have a school education while they are staying at the hospital. The relationships observed show both difficulties in cooperating and integrating into each other's spheres, but also a desire to maintain together the educational trajectories of these sick children, in particular through negotiations specific to the field, sometimes deriving from laws and institutional norms, and leading to a confusion of the initial roles conferred by the different individual statuses (parents, doctors/nurses, teachers, students/patients). |
