| Summary, etc. | RésuméEn France en 2019, la contraception orale (CO) est la contraception médicalisée la plus utilisée. L’oubli du médicament et les effets indésirables (EI) peuvent conduire à une grossesse non désirée. Cet article explore les connaissances sur le maniement de la CO en cas d’oubli, sur les EI possibles et leurs conséquences éventuelles sur l’observance. Deux tiers des participantes manquent d’information. Pour l’oubli inférieur à 12 h, la conduite à tenir est assimilée ; pour celui de plus de 12 heures, la nécessité d’une contraception mécanique est connue a contrario de la contraception post-coïtale et de la conduite à tenir lors d’un oubli durant la dernière semaine de comprimés actifs de la plaquette. Si 68 % des participantes tolèrent bien leur CO, pour 31 % les EI ont été responsables de l’arrêt ou du changement. Les EI sont mal connus sauf la prise de poids. L’absence d’enfant et un niveau socioprofessionnel élevé semblent être des facteurs liés à un meilleur niveau de connaissance. |

| Summary, etc. | In France, in 2018, oral contraception (OC) is the most widely used medical contraception. Forgetting the pill and adverse reactions can lead to an unwanted pregnancy. This article aims to explore knowledge of how to handle OC in the event of forgetting, possible adverse effects (ARs) and their possible consequences on compliance. Two thirds of participants lack information. For forgetting less than 12 hours, the right conduct to adopt is assimilated. For forgetting more than 12 hours, the need for mechanical contraception is known, while post-coïtal contraception and what to do when forgetting active tablets in the last week of the pack are not. 68% of participants tolerate their OC well. For 31%, the ARs were responsible for the discontinuation or change. ARs are poorly known except for weight gain. The childlessness and a high socio-professional category seems to be factors related to a better level of knowledge. |
