| Summary, etc. | L’article part d’une définition exploratoire de la notion « d’économie émergente » pour s’intéresser aux quatre plus éminentes : le Brésil, la Russie, l’Inde et la Chine. Il formule trois conjectures à propos de ces économies, illustrées par les BRIC, malgré leurs différences : la cohérence institutionnelle est un préalable à l’émergence économique ; les trajectoires des BRIC ont été pilotées en temps réel ; il n’existe pas de voie optimale unique ( one best way) de l’émergence économique. |

Three conjectures about emerging economies This paper uses a temptative definition of the « emerging economies » category and explores the main characteristics of the four most eminent of them : Brazil, Russia, India and China (the BRIC). It draws three conjectures about emerging economies, shared among the BRIC despite their diversity : first, institutional coherence is a precondition to economic growth ; second, BRIC present « real time » driven trajectories ; third, there is no « one best way » of economic emerging. |
