Summary, etc. | Cet article étudie la relation entre d’une part la vitalité d’un individu et d’autre part sa performance, le succès de carrière intrinsèque et extrinsèque chez les séniors aux Pays-Bas.1112 personnes de 45 ans ou plus, tous enregistrés dans une agence d’intérim spécialisée dans l’emploi des séniors, ont rempli un questionnaire sur leur vitalité, leur performance et leur succès de carrière. Les données ont été analysées en utilisant les régressions multiples. Les résultats confirment la relation entre ces trois thèmes, et mettent en avant la place importante de la vitalité dans les recherches sur les carrières chez les séniors. |

Summary, etc. | This study examined the relationship between employee vitality on the one hand and job performance, extrinsic as well as intrinsic career success of older workers in the Netherlands on the other hand. 1112 individuals aged 45 or above registered at a job agency specialized in older employees in the Netherlands filled out a survey measuring employee vitality, job performance and career success. The results were analyzed using multiple regression. In line with the expectations employee vitality was found to have a positive relationship with all variables under study. The findings show that employee vitality might be an important factor when studying the career success of older workers. |
