| Summary, etc. | Cet article mobilise le modèle d’interaction développé par les chercheurs de l’IMP Group (Industrial Marketing and Purchasing Group) pour analyser le déroulement d’une relation d’affaires engagée entre une PME allemande et son distributeur français. Notre étude de cas permet de retracer la rupture de cette relation en montrant en quoi elle est le résultat d’un processus d’interaction. Les résultats soulignent l’importance de la confiance mutuelle et des liens interpersonnels dans les relations d’affaires, notamment lorsque des conflits se développent dans un contexte international. |

| Summary, etc. | This article uses the interaction model developed by researchers of the IMP Group (Industrial Marketing and Purchasing Group) to analyse the conduct of a business relationship between a German SME and its French distributor. Our case study allows studying the breakdown of this relationship by showing how it can result from a process of interactions. The findings highlight the importance of mutual trust and interpersonal linkages in business relationships, especially when conflicts arise in an international context. |
