| Summary, etc. | Les efforts de développement des capacités de dissuasion nucléaires nord-coréennes doivent être compris comme l’aboutissement « logique » des politiques nord-coréennes depuis la fin de la Guerre de Corée. Il s’agit en effet de comprendre que les programmes nucléaires et balistiques, à l’instar des politiques économiques, culturelles ou idéologiques de la Corée du Nord, possèdent un déterminateur commun : la recherche de la souveraineté. Il convient donc de penser des stratégies de sortie de crise qui ne contreviennent pas aux objectifs de long-terme de la RPDC, comme semble y inviter le pyongjin. |

| Summary, etc. | North Korea’s focus on nuclear capacities development should be seen as a “logical” outcome of global North Korean policies since the end of the Korean War. One needs to understand that balistic and nuclear programs, as economical, cultural and ideological policies have a common denominator that is Pyongyang’s long-standing quest for national soverignety. It is therefore appropriate to think of crisis exit strategies that do not conflict with long-term goals of the DPRK as pyongjin strategy seems to invite us. |
