| Summary, etc. | Cet article propose d’examiner le développement du secteur éditorial à Taiwan et les défis historiques, politiques, linguistiques ou encore économiques qu’il a dû et doit encore surmonter pour dégager des espaces permettant le partage de textes, littéraires ou non. Si les soubassements d’un espace autonome de transmission littéraire ont été, malgré la censure, posés pendant la colonisation japonaise puis sous le gouvernement autoritaire du Kuomintang, le secteur éditorial taïwanais n’a véritablement pris son essor qu’à la faveur de la démocratisation dans les années 1990 et 2000, en parallèle à l’émergence d’une société civile diverse et active. Alors que le développement économique du pays et la hausse généralisée du niveau d’éducation ont favorisé des attitudes favorables à la lecture, la numérisation des pratiques culturelles révèle des fragilités en partie liées aux ruptures et traumas de l’histoire taïwanaise. |

| Summary, etc. | This article proposes to examine the development of the publishing sector in Taiwan and the historical, political, linguistic and economic challenges that it has had to overcome and still has to overcome in order to create spaces for the sharing of texts, literary or not. Although the foundations of an autonomous space for literary transmission were laid during Japanese colonization and then under the authoritarian Kuomintang government, despite censorship, the Taiwanese publishing sector only really took off with democratization in the 1990s and 2000s, in parallel with the emergence of a diverse and active civil society. While the economic development of the country and the generalized increase in the level of education have favored attitudes favorable to reading, the digitization of cultural practices reveals fragilities partly linked to the ruptures and traumas of Taiwanese history. |
