| Summary, etc. | Mostly based on the newspaper articles published in Le Monde during Emmanuel Macron’s first term, this study aims to show that between the controversial denunciation of the “lack of empathy” of an “imperial” president and the demagogic demeanour of a politician who “plays the empathy card” with his people, the French press has constantly questioned Emmanuel Macron's image against his capacity to identify with the feelings of others, an ability which is a benchmark of our society and its rhetoric. |

| Summary, etc. | Basándose principalmente en los artículos publicados en el periódico francés Le Monde a lo largo del primer mandato de Emmanuel Macron, este estudio intenta destacar que, entre la denuncia polémica de la «falta de empatía» de un presidente endiosado y la escenificación demagógica de un político que se «juega con la empatía» por su pueblo, la prensa francesa ha seguido analizando la imagen de Emmanuel Macron y su capacidad de identificarse con los sentimientos de los demás, referente de nuestra sociedad y de sus discursos. |
