| Summary, etc. | Cet article analyse les transformations organisationnelles de l’acteur public métropolitain dans le cadre d’un passage à la smart city à partir de Rennes et Lyon, métropoles aux visions contrastées, au prisme du design de services et des territoires urbains mettant à l’honneur une approche centrée usagers. Il s’agit de montrer comment les processus de design (envisagés dans une double acception de « dessin » et de « dessein ») accompagnent un paradigme de mobilité qui redessine les pratiques de co-construction liées à des formes d’organisation urbaine. À partir d’un corpus constitué des documents produits autour de 58 data-services de mobilité, à Lyon et Rennes depuis 2010, l’article développe ces perspectives d’analyse en traitant notamment du design des mobilités urbaines et des données urbaines de mobilité, ainsi que de l’intégration des pratiques de participation citoyenne et d’innovation sociale au sein de cette organisation territoriale centrée usagers. |

| Summary, etc. | This paper analyses the organizational transformations of metropolitan public actor within the framework of a transition to smart city from Rennes and Lyon, metropolises with contrasting visions, through prism of design of services and urban territories highlighting a user-centered approach. The aim is to show how design processes (in a double meaning of “purpose” and “design”) foster mobility paradigm which redraws practices of co-construction linked to forms of urban organization. Based on a corpus made up of documents produced around 58 mobility data-services, in Lyon and Rennes since 2010, this paper develops these analytical perspectives by dealing with the design of urban mobility and urban mobility data, and the integration of citizen participation and social innovation practices within this user-centered territorial organization. |
